Vivian will be reading along with a diverse group of poets at the New Year’s Day Alternative Spoken Word/Performance Extravaganza at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York City on Jan. 1st, 2016. This year’s theme is “Palabras Luminosas (Luminous Words).”
On Sunday, October 25th, 2015, Vivian will be reading at The Junction in Toronto at 3030 Dundas St. West from 5-8p.m. Three other authors will be reading as well including Carole Giangrande, author of Here Comes the Dreamer, also published by Inanna.
Vivian will be reading from her novel, Bear War-den, on Thursday June 11th at 7:30 p.m. at Pages Bookstore in Calgary, AB as part of the Flywheel reading series.
On Wednesday, May 20th, Vivian will be reading from her novel, Bear War-den, and S. Noel Mckay will be reading from her novel, Stony Point, at Audreys Books in Edmonton, Alberta at 7pm.

Fire watcher has made the list of final nominees for the 2013 Banff Mountain Fiction and Poetry Award. Vivian will be reading from Fire Watcher at the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival on Friday, November 1st at 4pm.
April 2013: Vivian was among 30 Poets featured by the Literary Press Group of Canada for her book, Fire Watcher.

Vivian Demuth will be reading from her novel, Eyes of the Forest, as part of a Western Canada 2007 Spring Book Tour. Most of the readings will take place in public libraries, with a few colleges, bookstores, and galleries as well. The tour begins in Grande Prairie on April 23rd then travels through B.C. and Saskatchewan and ends on May 14th in Dawson Creek.
